You used to love teaching. Now you’re wondering how much longer you can keep doing this.
If teaching is leaving you exhausted, overwhelmed or unsure what needs to change, a free 30-minute clarity call can help you make sense of where you are - and what your next step might be.
You don’t need to know whether you want to stay in teaching.
You don’t need to have a plan.
And you definitely don’t need to keep pushing through until you’ve figured it all out on your own.
Maybe you’ve been telling yourself to just get through the term.
You’re still turning up.
Still teaching. Planning. Supporting students. Answering questions. Managing everything that needs managing.
But it’s taking more out of you than it used to.
By the time you get home, there’s barely anything left.
You might feel exhausted but find it hard to switch off.
You might dread Sunday afternoons.
You might notice you’re more irritable, emotional or disconnected at home.
And somewhere underneath all of that is the question you don’t really want to ask:
“Can I keep doing this?”
The difficult part is that you might not know what the alternative is either.
Do you need better boundaries?
A different way of working?
A different role?
A break?
Or are you actually ready to leave teaching?
When you’re already exhausted, those can feel like very big questions.
You don’t have to answer them all today.
Start with a conversation.
The free 30-minute Bloom Again Clarity Call gives you space to talk through what has been happening with someone who understands teacher burnout.
We can explore:
what feels hardest at the moment
what might be contributing to the way you’re feeling
what you’ve already tried
what you want to be different
what kind of support or next step might actually help
You don’t need to prepare anything.
And there’s no pressure to sign up for coaching afterwards.
If I think another type of support would be more appropriate, I’ll tell you.
Sometimes you simply need somewhere to stop, say what’s really going on and begin untangling it.
Because “try harder” isn’t always the answer.
I know how easy it is for teachers to respond to overwhelm by doing more.
I did it too.
When I was burning out, I kept believing I could somehow get on top of things if I worked harder.
So I brought more work home.
Kept pushing.
And at one point, I worked around 70 hours in a week.
But the impact didn’t stay at school.
My family was getting the exhausted, overwhelmed version of me too.
It took me time to understand that I didn’t need to become better at tolerating an unsustainable situation.
I needed to understand what was happening and work out what needed to change.
That experience eventually led me to create Bloom Again Coaching.
Today I support teachers who are reaching that same point of wondering:
“Something needs to change - but what?”
You don’t have to decide whether to stay or leave.
That’s one of the most important things I want you to know.
Bloom Again isn’t about convincing teachers to stay in education.
And it isn’t about telling burnt-out teachers they need to quit.
It’s about helping you understand where you are, reconnect with what matters to you and make your next decision from a clearer place.
Maybe that leads to a more sustainable way of teaching.
Maybe it leads to a different role.
Maybe it eventually leads you somewhere completely new.
You don’t need to know before we talk.
You don’t need your whole future figured out.
You just need a place to start.
If teaching is taking more from you than you can keep giving, book a free 30-minute clarity call and let’s talk about what’s happening.
